Forget R.O. Filters
Easy to install, excellent filtering and no loss of pressure after a few quarts. We previously had a Whirlpool R.O. system from Lowes and before that one from Sears. We had them for years and they both had problems. Every few months we had to replace something and not just the filters. Not fun to take apart, lots of hoses, etc. The Everpure system has no tank and only two lines, one in and one out. I have tested the water and it is actually cleaner than the old R.O. system.Another huge advantage is the lack of pressurized tank. This system works with the water pressure you have in your cold water line. If you use the water to cook or draw water for two large dogs, as we do, it was frustrating to draw a few quarts and have the pressure drop to a trickle until the tank could be replenished. As advertised ! Easy to Do-it-yourself installation...
We purchased the everpure complete kits with hot and cold in an appliance store and brought the replacement unit online every other years since it's more convenience for us . We have been using this home unit for almost ten years with no problems. Our household size is small and we purely use it as drinking water and not for cooking. For cooking, it's fine to use tap water since its boiling temperature will do the work. It's very convenience than buying bottle water. The only thing I like Everpure unit to improve is that instead of packing with a battery indicator reminder, it's better to come with something such as paper test strips to simply testing the water condition periodically so I can tell exactly when to replace the filters.

Good Filters
I use these for filtering the city's water for my soda fountain. They do a good job. Soda tastes good and no more build up on the fountain heads. Easy to change out yourself.
