Caution. This item is listed as a valve cover set, but is really only for one valve cover. You would need two to change both valve cover gaskets on the V6 engine it fits. Somewhat disappointing.

As good as oem
I had oil all over my spark plugs in my 2007 GTI.Pulled off the valve cover and found the old gasket was warped around the seals for all four of the spark plugs.Replaced the old gasket with this one and all is well :)Just be mindful of torquing the valve cover, get a torque wrench and set it to 10NM which is about 7.4 ft lbs.There is an order to the way the bolts are torqued. I believe it is easy to find if you google "diy mkv gti valve cover".

This did the trick on my 07 A4 2.0. With both the original and the replacement side-by-side, they look identical. As far as I can tell this seal is the same as OEM (it is German made too). So why get ripped off at the Audi dealer?
