Excellent Solution with a couple of tweaks
I bought this holder so I would have a place to mount my iPad in my new Audi A4. The first thing I noticed when I got the package is that the support arm is solid aluminum and needs to be bent to shape. This is a difficult thing to do (but not impossible) without a vice (so be forewarned). The second problem, is the base is supposed to be secured using a bolt from the seat railing. Well the A4 doesn't have any bolts in the seat railing and there was no way I was going to drill a hole in the floor board of my new $45,000 car. By the way, I have it in the landscape position, rather than the portrait shown in the picture; the mounting hardware allows either and is self-explanatory.It looks and feels like the people that made it cared about the design; the pieces are strong, well made, and appear to be build for lasting a long time (I don't anticipate any broken plastic). It also...
