Wow. Nice brake pads!
I installed this set on my 2000 VW Passat 4Motion AWD wagon. Instructions were included and were very straight forward. Necessary shims were provided. Take your time and follow the instructions as the pads are directional, though they are marked well. Make sure to clean all surfaces where the pads ride and use the supplied lubricant where recommended. A word of "caution for VW/Audi owners". When pushing the piston back into the caliper, it's wise to open the bleeder valve and use a brake bleeder kit to capture the excess fluid without allowing air to enter the system, as opposed to forcing it back into the brake reservoir. Reason for this procedure is to prevent damage to your ABS Module. I did not used this procedure, and even though I very gently returned the piston into the caliper, I ended up getting the ABS light, brake light, and Brake Fault warning on my dash. It is a common problem with these Bosch 5.3 systems. Your brakes will still work, but you will encounter costly...

Absolutely the best!
Got this for my 2002 VW Passat V6 GLS (both front and rears) a few months ago and i can't be more happy with them. Absolutely clean , very very low dust compared to the EBC that it had previously, awesome brake power and most importantly SILENT (I can't stand squeaky brakes)I'm pretty sure that I'm sticking to Akebono for any brake jobs that I'll have in the future!

my boyfriend got these, so this is coming from him:they work well. it makes the seatbelt more comfortable and the price isn't bad. the only complaint is that the seatbelt doesn't retract unless you pull the pad down when you get out of the car. i would recommend this and i would purchase again. Way better then I could have imagined.
I will agree that the belt doesn't retract all the way, but thats easily taken care of by a little pull on the pad, all done. Great, high quality stitching, bright red and white coloring, fits perfectly and moves with up and down the seat belt as you move, i.e. you need to get something out of the glove box or from the back seat. I would have paid 5X this price for this item. Honestly.Im a car freak and am on all the Audi forums, so trust me on this review. I do a lot of research before I buy something. On this, since it was only a couple latte's, it was an impulse, but a simply amazing find.Recommend highly, beyond highly, other-worldy recommended. Top to learn more

Dustless pads
I bought these as a test for being dustless. These pads are not truly "dustless", no brake pad is, but they are much better than the OEM pads. Not only is there less dust, the dust is lighter in color as opposed to black, so it does not show up as bad as the OEM pads on silver rims. I can go a week without having to clean the rims on the rear. The front rims I need to clean almost daily. Braking power is as good, if not better than OEM pads. I highly recommend these and I am purchasing a set for the front. Top to learn more

Decent Brake Pads
If you hate brake dust(my wheels are still clean after 2 weeks, Its truly amazing how much the difference is from stock pads), and do not mind losing a little braking power, this will work for you. If you drive or brake aggressively (stopping last minuet) you might miss your old brakes. For most drivers I believe they will prefer these over stock since it helps you slow down more gradually and there is less initial bite. I bought this set for my 2007 Audi A4. Top to learn more

2008 Audi A4 B7 2.0T
I installed front brakes myself on my Audi A4 2.0T with new Brembo blank rotors. First impression, buttery smooth and stop quite well, after just a short break-in period. But yes, they do not feel like OEM. You will not feel that sudden bite/jerk that you do with the OEM pads. If that's your thing, stick with Pagid/Textar/TRW.The Akebono Euro pads feel smooth and refined with greater control, and make absolutely no noise. Couple that with clean wheels and much less rotor wear (which I can appreciate considering my rotors are $200/set), and I'm sold. I may do the rears next. We'll see how they do long term! Almost perfect...
I installed these on an 2007 Audi A4. The OEM pads are good on stopping power, however the drawbacks are:1.) A lot of brake dust. I've washed my car and and wheels, and 1-2 days later they look nasty and caked with brake dust.2.) When braking it's either ON or OFF. Meaning it's VERY hard to actuate the level of braking force you're trying to apply.I think with this pad you lose a little bit of overall braking power [based on a panic stop]. If the OEM's were let's say "10" these would be a "9". At low speeds I like it because it doesn't have as hard initial bite as the OEM pads. This makes for less jerky low speed stops. The brake dust is a million times better.Overall I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of braking power for less dust and a better pedal feel. Top to learn more
