Perfect with its High Tone cousin
Customer Video Review Length:: 0:08 MinsI installed both this and its cousin the in my 2010 Toyota 4Runner and all is well... just plug and play with the existing 10 amp circuit.Sounds PERFECT! I've uploaded a couple videos so you can hear how they sound.

Great addition to your motorcycle
I initially bought the Stebel Nautilus Compact Air Horn for my motorcyle and wired it with a relay so that my existing horn would still be able to sound with the the air horn. I was terribly disappointed with the volume of the Stebel. Maybe it was a defective unit but I purchased the high and low volume Freeway Blasters from Fiamm and used the same relay setup. I could not be more pleased with the sound and volume of the Fiamms. The first time I let my son hear my new horns he jumped back at least a foot and I thought he was going to fall down. He was aware I was going to blow my motorcycle horn, he was just not aware of how loud it was going to be. It is much easier to install than the Stebel and there are more mounting options. The Stebel has to be mounted within 15 degrees of vertical or it will not work very long. The Fiamms are more forgiving.

FIAMM High Note Horn
OEM horn for Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice(except for terminals which are easy to connect). Unfortunately these 2 nice vehicles come with 1 "low" note horn (same FIAMM model numbers as this one). By adding this 2nd "high" note horn wired parallel to the original "low" note horn that comes with these vehicles, you no longer have to be embarrassed when you hit the horn. It now sounds like my Corvette and not like a sick baby cow.Note that the manufacturer numbers on the original horns and this one are identical. The only way to differentiate between a "low" note horn and a "high" note horn is by the letters L (for low) or H (for high) on the body of the horn. Just look for these as they don't stand out.I chose to wire the new high-note horn parallel and with the same polarity to the original low-note OEM horn. Do not use the ground wire that comes with the new horn. FIAMM states that polarity is not crucial, but I chose to stick with same polarity...

great sound
I got both the high and low note horns for my bike, Yamaha Road Star, and they went on pretty easy. Same wire same mounts. Sound great, like a car with the hood up. Now that will get attention.

Excellent Horn
It was a good replacement for my Silverado's high note horn. However, I did have to modify the electrical connector. Not a problem considering the dealer's exact replacement was several times the price.

Awesome horn.
These things are awesome. I bought two along with some relays and relay sockets so I could get them enough power directly from the battery to do serious audible damage. Make sure to buy this one with its mate, the 72112 low tone. After wiring in the relays, these went in my 2000 Civic perfectly. They replaced the crappy horn in there, and I used the wiring to tie into the relay signal hot wire. Then, I grounded the relay to the body by tying it into the ground wire from one of the horns. The horns come with these little wire slide connectors that you can clamp onto your wires. I used wire nuts to tie all the wires together - I suggest you do the same. I was able to mount them facing away from eachother with grounding connectors in between the mounts using a single bolt that held the old Honda horn. This was ideal, and very clean - no drilling required!I suggest finding yourself a 12V DC 4-pin or 5-pin 40 Amp SPST ISO Micro Relay for this project. Also, it really...

Wow, these are loud!
I mounted these on my Honda Goldwing, to replace the somewhat anemic stock Honda horns. I had too many instances where I used my horn, and the cellphone-using car driver who was cutting me off or whatever never heard me.Not anymore! These things are LOUD. I've used them a few times now since I installed them, and people look around wondering where the semi is!Mounting was easy, and only took a few minutes. However, they do take a lot of current, and the factory wiring on my motorcycle was not up to the task. I had to install a new wire from the battery, and use a relay to switch them - not a big deal. Once I did this, they worked perfectly! Highly recommended.

The BEST Gabrieli Album, and McCreesh's Best, Too
"Music for San Rocco" gives us a most generous collection of Gabrieli music(78 min.), beautifully performed and gorgeously recorded. The album as a whole is well paced, alternating the grand, the meditative and the purely instumental with intelligence and sensitivity. And the singing is always enthusiastic and downright rapturous! For me, this is also McCreesh's best album because it is not a reconstruction. I have heard several of these discs, and the reconstructions of Mass or vesper services might be interesting to listen to once, or maybe even twice if you have never been ot a genuine Catholic service of this sort. But frankly, liturgies, and liturgical chants are not entertainment, and generally are purely functional rather than entertaining. If you want just the real music on these discs, you have to program out 20-25% of the selections! More music and less turgid liturgical history for me, Paul!

This is how you perform the music of Gabrieli!
There is little I can add to what the other reviewers have said about this tremendous recording. The performances are very good, the tempi are well chosen and the instruments are the rights ones. There are many excellent contributions from individuals - Robin Blaze is positively heroic in Buccinate in neomenia tuba. The three violins in Sonata XXI con tre violini play this music with great sensuality. The cornettists are all first rate and so are the sackbut players. It all sounds very good and the music is wonderful.Let's just hope that the video of this recording is issued on DVD soon! (Let DGG know you wan them to do this!)

Giovanni Gabrieli: Music For San Rocco
I am huge fan of music from this time period and I have listened to countless composers that are able to create and compose stupendous and astounding music. Gabrieli is one those geniuses. Music for San Rocco is a splendid piece and I agree with Thomas Coryat whom wrote an amazing review at the time of when the piece was performed. Being a deeply devout Lutheran I love the lyrics and I love the message of the San Rocco celebrations. Listening to it reminds one of being in Sunday mass and I love this since Sunday is my favorite day of the week. The book-let is well done with a short piece that scans the history of this splendid work and has the lyrics in several languages. I am huge fan of renaisance art and the cover art is absolutely gorgeous. I can not say enough good things or give it enough accolades. This is simply put it sublime.

Product Description

The polychoral and antiphonal works of Giovanni Gabrieli sound best performed in the acoustics for which they were conceived, such as the Scuola Grande di San Rocco in Venice, where this splendid collection was recorded. Whether in extroverted pieces like the Sonatas 18 and 20, or the introspective and harmonically rich Domine, Deus meus, the sounds that resonate between the notes are crucial to this composer's expression. Time and again one's ears perk up at Gabrieli's genius for blending the most unlikely sonorities imaginable, such as six low voices and six sackbuts (early relatives of the trombone) in the extraordinary Suscipe clementissime. Although Gabrieli may have been the first "spatial" composer, or perhaps the first sound designer, he never indulges in fanciful effects for their own sake. The sonics manage to convey the music's spatial requirements without sacrificing clarity. --Jed Distler Top to learn more

Audi Horn

There was no leaning on the horn that some of these very same drivers adopt upon beginning their new careers as cab drivers in New York. I found that apart from emergencies (few and far between), the only time I need to use the horn is when there is a raft of cyclists/pedestrians on a narrow road and you need to drive past them while avoiding a side swipe. When I was in New Delhi a few years back, I noticed that horn usage reminded me of the bleating of sheep. Usage of the horn is a habit more than it is any real need. The horn usage was almost constant, with lots of short bleeps.

The horn is tested differently - with two continuous weeks only of honking, the setting of the horn is different, with different suppliers," he said.  "Obviously for India, the horn is a category in itself," Michael Perschke, Director, Audi India, recently told a news daily. Recently, we came to know that popular German luxury carmaker Audi equips its cars sold in India with a special horn.

Audi has also previously revealed that the vehicles they send out to india are tested to suit Indian road conditions that vary from dirt roads in the countryside, highways in varying states of disrepair and traffic condition where the vehicles... With different suppliers, the setting of the horn is different with the horns being tested with two continuous weeks only of honking to meet the demands of Indian drivers.

“Obviously for India, the horn is a category in itself,” Michael Perschke, director at Audi India, told Monday’s Mint newspaper. “The horn is tested differently — with two continuous weeks only of honking, the setting of the horn is different, with different suppliers,” he said. Perschke said the horns are specially adapted for driving conditions in India, a booming market where Audi is one of many foreign car brands competing for increasingly wealthy customers.
