The overall length of the tool is about 27″, for Audi big engine only, pls measure the distance between the cams to make sure this is the right tool, this one will not work for some smaller engine 12v car which uses a shorter tool. THIS PIN IS USED TO LOCK THE CRANKSHAFT AT THE TDC POSITION WHILE REPLACING THE TIMING BELT OR REMOVING THE CRANKSHAFT BOLT.
All major components are new developments, from the cylinder block to the crankshaft, and the connecting rods to the cylinder heads. Thanks to weight-reducing materials the engine weighs only 194kg, a full 23kg less than its predecessor weighs.
