Short version:Among all fuel system cleaners I'm aware of, Redline SI-1 contains the highest quantity per dollar (based on manufacturer MSDS) of the critical fuel-system-cleaning compounds known as polyether amines (PEA). Primarily for this reason I believe SI-1 to be the best available and most cost-effective fuel system cleaner product at retail pricing. [...].In my case it has not been necessary to use Redline's recommended quantity of approximately 3 oz per fill-up. The effects of 1 oz per fill-up are indistinguishable in terms of tested results (see my basis for this statement below). Raised my gas mileage 3-4 points
My '06 Civic SI has about 40,000 miles on it. It had been getting around 22 mpg (mostly city driving) but even with long distance freeway driving (around 75mph) I'd only get about 23 mpg. I usually use Chevron or Shell gas. I also have used Techron fuel cleaner in the past with no results.So I used Red Line SI-1 a few tanks ago, and my gas mileage has increased to about 26 mpg for my last few tanks. Right now I'm at 318 miles on one tank of gas, and i have one bar left on my fuel gauge (it's digital). Prior to the Red Line the best I'd ever gotten was 312 on one tank of gas, and that was after driving the ENTIRE tank on the freeway, and driving 10 miles with no bars left on the fuel gauge. Typically I would get 250-270 miles on one tank.I'm stoked!I will admit that using this stuff ain't going to do anything to help you if your injectors aren't clogged... but if you suspect they are, this is the fuel cleaner to get!

I Trust It
I belong to an online forum of Colorado owners (coloradofans.com) and created a poll to see which fuel system cleaner the members liked best. This one did very well, so I tried it and I like the results. I have poured a bottle in the tank prior to every oil change recently.I also like Techron, because it seems to give me a smoother idle over each tank of gas. Redline seems to bring out the raw power of my engine though.I am not a mechanic, but it seems to work for me.

Beats driving to the auto store.
I purchased this adapter because it seemed to have better compatibility in comparison to some of the other ones(blue & orange) on Amazon. I tested this adapter on a 2001 Lexus IS300 and and 2002 Chevy Tahoe using the Torque lite app via a CM7 HP Touchpad. The adapter easily yet firmly fit into both of the OBD2 ports. After setting up and syncing the devices together it began to display all sorts of useful data such as Engine RPM, Temperature, O2 voltages, Intake G/S, and some other statistics. I'm not sure if it is a limitation of the cars ECU's or the Torque app but some data failed to display (main voltage, mpg, a few others). I never got to read/erase diagnostic codes because one car had the codes wiped out prior to checking and the other vehicle simply wasn't throwing any codes. Overall I think its a pretty good product, because it works, is inexpensive and it beats driving to the parts store.

Problems with bluetooth connection - UPDATED
I received this item in the mail yesterday (very quickly I might add) and immediately connected it to my 2009 Chevy Impala. My phone (Motorola Admiral with Android Gingerbread)paired with the device but would not connect and read any information from scanner. When I got home I tried a 2011 Impala with the same results. Today I tried it again in my 2003 Porsche Boxster with no results. I grabbed my Vizio 8 Tablet with Android Gingerbread tried to sync with the scanner and Porsche combo but it still will not work.I have tried inserting the device, turning the car on, pairing then opening the Torque app in that sequence. No worky.I tried turning on the car, inserting the device, pairing then Torque. Still no worky.One thing to note the device will illuminate the LEDs on the front of the unit from red to yellow to green and back again before staying red. I have contacted the seller and requested support and will update this review...

MaxScan VAG Diagnostic Scanner
I own a 2001 Passat, November 2011 the display on the dash read out: STOP... ABS FAILURE! This freaked out my wife so we took it in to the dealer and they looked into it. They reset the fault and wiggled a few connectors to the tune of $150.00. The scan alone was the first $100.00. My assumption is that they already knew what the problem was before they even plugged it in as the new part alone through them was $900.00. The rebuilder I sent my part to charged $125.00 to rebuild my original with heavier duty components. After I installed it I mentioned the problem to a buddy who owns a repair shop, he offered me his code reader to reset the fault that reoccurred when I had come home from the dealer visit. His reader worked great and as it would turn out happens to be this very one. If you own a VW or Audi product, this Reader will pay for itself twice the first time you use it. The VAG (volkswagen audi group) reader is the only way to go. It reads more systems than the generic...

great price a must for vw owners
I own a 2001 beetle 1.8t, a 2002 jetta 1.8t and a 2001 Audi A4 1.8t which is basically the same car different packages. When the service light came on and couldn't figure what the problems was with the regular obd2 reader it frustrated me but since I used this vagcom obd2 reader I have been able to find and fix the exactly place and sensors that trip the service light with ease I like it worth every penny.
