Magnaflow 91005 Universal Catalytic Converter
i ordered this for a 2002 s10 pick up. i bought it as a replacement since the one on the truck had been cut off, it arrived like a week before amazon said it would, had it put on the truck and quietened it down alot and made the little 4 cylinder a little more peppier. did it improve my gas mileage ? i'm hoping it did but i dunno cause the gas hand dont work, anybody know how to fix that on the cheap lol. but it DIDN'T make my check engine light go off tho, but it also has another exhaust leak at the flex pipe and thats the next repair.its a one size fits all converter but for the 60 bucks i paid for it and 25 to get it installed sure beats the 189 price the auto parts store asked for one to fit it, so yeah i would order from them again Top to learn more

Do you have a 1996 to Present vehicle with CEL, ECU or MIL Light on and have a test pipe, high flow cat, downpipe, or high performance exhaust installed? Then our O2 Simulator is perfect for you!
How our O2 Simulator works is it removes the troublesome O2 sensor from direct exhaust flow. 99.9% of the time this tends to be the rear most O2 sensor in modified exhaust systems (at or after the cat). This sensor is also known as the 'Heated Sensor Circuit' or 'Bank 1 sensor 2'. With a modified exhaust system, this sensor will receive higher temperature and a higher flow rate than stock. Thus causing the ECU to read that the exhaust system is out of balance. When the ECU sees that the system is out of balance it will throw a code and drop into 'limp mode'.
When you add our O2 Simulator it will remove the troublesome O2 sensor from direct exhaust flow and provide the ECU the expected exhaust balance. Thus allowing your ECU to run the motor optimally.
Our O2 Simulator simply is screwed on to your existing O2 sensor and the assembly is replaced into the O2 bung.
This is an easy & inexpensive fix that will ensure the O2 sensor is not overloaded by your added exhaust flow. Easier to install and more reliable than an electrical device! No soldering or splicing involved !

Worked long enough to get me through inspection
I have an 02 Chevy Tahoe with 127K on it. I've been throwing P0420 & P0430 codes for about 8000 miles, and lately they come back within a day of being cleared. Following the advice of another reviewer, here's what worked for me:I used first to clean the MAF, let the car warm up for about 20 minutes, poured a bottle of Cataclean in the tank and drove for about 25 minutes (less than 1/4 tank of gas in the car). best money I've ever spent
Another reviewer said this is not a miracle product, but for me it was. It truly has saved me $975. My 2000 Chevy Prizm check engine light has been off and mostly on, for like 10 months. It was time for inspection and I didn't pass because the light was on so I took it to a dealer (yes, I know, I know but the last time I didn't go to the dealer when the check engine light was on it went in the shop 5 times and was never fixed correctly until I took it to a dealer). On top of a whole host of other completely inflated and bogus repairs they suggested, they told me I had to REPLACE the catalytic converter to the tune of $1,000+. There was no other option. This was it. For an old, high mileage car it wasn't worth it and I came very close to just selling the car to a junkyard.I have my own code reader ... Top to learn more

This works...sort of.
I thought it felt like the exhaust back pressure was holding my engine back--especially when I let off the gas--so I figured the cat was stopped up (among other things, but hey...181,000 is a lot of miles) and I got this stuff. I'd never used liquid catalytic converter cleaner before, so I didn't know what to expect and was a little skeptical. I wasn't completely disappointed though; it did help. That being said though, this is not a miracle in a bottle. Unless you pour it in every 3 months like it says on the bottle, it probably won't do a whole lot of good long-term, but again like I said, it did help. I do recommend using this in conjunction with another fuel additive...a good one like (don't waste your money on Slick50, Gumout, or Prestone...they make no... Top to learn more

Regular 49 state legal cats and okay, but the 50 state legal cats have to meet California's strict CARB standards and have to be inspected and certified. Worth the extra $$$ as I believe it will last longer than 49 state version. Top to learn more
