Hard core
I had bad luck with specialty tools lately.These have been the best. I had some really old splines on my 944 some had damaged heads. I was able to beat these into the damaged bolts and pull out the splines with little to no damage to the tool itself. (which I wouldn't recommend doing unless you had no alternative)

Assenmacher, a cut above.
Don't sit there thinking and wondering if you should get this one or get a cheaper set from someone else. Don't waste your money on cheap junk tools. Assenmacher is top quality, and their tools not only FIT, but last and last as well. Full kit in a nice plastic case so you're not digging in your socket drawer for the right bit. If Assenmacher is one of the choices that I can make, then it will be my first choice.

A steal for the money
Purchased the item after considering all other possibilities (ie renting the tool); this is by far more advantageous, but I worried about the quality of the product.Turned out my worries were unfounded; the item arrived quick and in perfect order. I've used it almost immediately, and it's just a great tool that cut my working time by a large margin: good quality product, decent instructions, can be used on many vehicles.Highly recommended!

Half Good
These caliper bolts are identical, the problem is that on the 2008 BMW 750 Li each caliper uses two different length bolts. It was not obvious until I started to reinstall the caliper. They are about 1/2" different in length so it is not that obvious and who would expect it? Why BMW would do this only Wolfgan and God know. So since I was in the process of reassembly I used the old longer ones over again after a good cleaning with Goof Off. I went to the local dealer to get the longer ones but they were not in stock and the price was out of sight. The short ones fit fine and the brakes work very well.Hans
