Works like a charm
I was a little skeptical of ordering this because after all it is chinese made. But they actually got this right. It works perfectly. I have an 09 Audi A4 and as soon as I plugged this in and plugged my thumb-drive in, it started working like a charm. If you are considering this, consider buying this thumb-drive as well: I loaded all of my music on it and now I get to enjoy my music without having to have the cost and proprietary stuff of an Ipod. If for some reason it doesn't recognize your drive, just unplug it and re-seat it. Good Luck! Top to learn more
Works perfectly, far cheaper than buying from the car dealer
2009 A4 with the MMI 2G. Just plugged the cable in and plugged my USB stick into it. The radio brought up the folder and started playing music as soon as I switched to the Interface device. Far better purchase here than the $75 the dealer was asking. Top to learn more

Mediabridge Toslink audio cable
This is the first optical cable I have purchased from Mediabridge but have used 3 of their HDMI cables in various lengths and have had no problems with them.I have had a few different makes of Toslink cables, but always settled for the lower end versions because of the high cost of name-brand cable. Like almost everything- you get what you pay for- very thin sheathing over the fiber optic and just felt like they would snap at any minute. I had a couple of failures due to moving a component and the cat pulled on one and the fiber snapped inside.This cable's sheathing is easily 3 times thicker than the low-cost cables and compared to my most expensive cable it is noticeably thicker and also the Toslink connectors seem to be of a higher quality.I use this between my old DVD player which doesn't have HDMI to connect to my receiver to listen to CDs. I know- why would anyone use that when they have a Blu ray player, XM radio, and their home PC all connected to their home...

Works as advertised!
I purchased the mediabridge hdmi cables a couple months back and had no issues with them. For the price and quality of the hdmi cables, I decided to stick with the mediabridge brand again with these Toslink optical digital audio cable! Hooked it up to my TV and receiver because my tv had no hdmi audio out support. Mediabridge delivers again with these audio cables and I'll be sure to continue recommending and purchasing this brand because of its price and quality!

Quality Cable - Great Price
After buying several HDMI cables from Mediabridge and being very satisfied, when I needed a Toslink cable this was the first place I looked. I was not disappointed! Just like my experience with their HDMI cables, a quality product, simple packaging and no hassles. And don't forget the pricing. The local big box store would have sold me a comparable cable for 2-3 times the price that would be packaged in a plastic torture package. Next time I need one, I will be clicking right here!

It works
Audi A4, came with the Ipod cable in the glove compartment. Hated it, wanted to use my phone and as my car stereo. Not only does it work, I think it sounds better and best of all you can control the stereo from the phone. Proprietary connectors are a pain, but what are you going to do? I purchased this for my 2009 A5 since I use an Android phone. The sound quality is fantastic on my B&O sound system. Very simple, exactly what I needed...
This is exactly as it is described. The cord was actually more sturdy and thicker than I expected - which is a nice bonus because they can get damaged sometimes. There was absolutely no sound degradation from this to my headphones - sounds great! Both ends are very sturdy and have a solid connection. This wasn't the cheapest extension (only one was cheaper) however, this one had MUCH better reviews. For the couple bucks I spent on it - it was money well spent. Highly recommended. Nice little charger, works in VW and Audi
I bought two of these for my wife's 04 VW Passat and my 06 Audi A4. They fit nearly flush into the socket which is nice as I can close the cover on my A4 and it's completely hidden. 1 amp output is sufficient for everything except for my TomTom which likes 2 amps for best results. Now we can charge our iPods and phones in the car without concern. One other thing: the iPod cord is really beefy!I also bought a Kensington PowerBolt Duo for its 2 amp outlet that I keep in the accessory port under the armrest. It doesn't fit as well in the lighter socket as it protrudes enough to interfere with the lighter cover, so the Griffin is a better choice for that location if you're looking at both. Great power, low profile
I have had difficulty finding car chargers that would put out enough power to charge my Palm Pre. Most would sustain battery level at best, while others would slowly loose battery level as the phone was under load with the GPS running. This charger being a full amp-hour provides the amount of power needed to charge my phone, but keep charging it while under load.Additionally the low profile design which barely sticks above the power socket is great. In my '07 VW Passat, I can still close the cover that conceals the socket and ash try without having to remove the adapter. Even in other vehicles, this adapter would seamlessly turn that sightly power socket into two USB ports to fill a hole in the dash. Top to learn more
Initial Impression Report
Just received this item, so here's my initial impression. Looks well made. The item easily & snugly fits in the charging receptacle for both my cars & the cable easily fits into my iPhone 4. The compact size makes it very nice for traveling. The dual USB ports is nice feature too. Note: the item description says it has a resetting circuit breaker.
