Did what I needed it to do
Instead of paying the dealer $90 to read why my airbag light was on, I bought this reader for my 2002 New Beetle. I was able to determine the cause of the light and reset/clear the code and turn the light off. The cause was a common thing across all VWs with wiring connectors becoming loose beneath the seats (most newer VWs have airbags in the seats) which causes the airbag light to go on. I was also able to see other codes that didn't cause any lights to come on. Great little reader and the supplied CD has a 200+ page PDF file with all the VW codes and what they are. That and Google are your friend. Excellent product for the price!

Worked perfectly and saved me money
Needed to check ABS fault in 1997 VW. Worked exactly as described. Found faulty RF wheel speed sensor and ordered new one from AutohausAZ. Well worth the investment.

The RDT45 easily and quickly determines the cause of the "check engine" coming on and is able turn it off without going to the dealer and erase codes, saving time diagnosing problems and money in repair costs. It works on four main systems: engine, transmission, airbag and ABS. It also is helpful in checking for potential problems prior to purchasing a car. Reliable Handheld Automotive Diagnostics for VW and Audi Models Beginning in the 1980s new vehicles began to be wired with a variety of computerized diagnostic systems designed to improve efficiencies, simplify troubleshooting and minimize the need for repairs. These systems produce indicators known as diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) internally, usually indicating something out of the ordinary by illuminating the "check engine"/malfunction indicator light (MIL) on the dashboard of your car. In the 1990s these systems, codes and the hardware connectors used to access them were standardized in North America as OBD (onboard diagnostics) and later OBD-II. Europe uses the equivalent EOBD, but Volkswagen and Audi vehicles also use another diagnostic standard system, VAG. Unofficially this acronym can be taken to stand for "Volkswagen Audi Group." The Roadi RDT45 VAG basic diagnostic scan tool is specially designed to work with most Volkswagen and Audis sold worldwide beginning in 1990. If your VW/AUDI model has a 16-pin OBD-II style Data Link Connector(DTC), the RDT45 code reader will certainly work. If it has an old-style 2x2 Data Link Connector (DTC), then it depends on whether there are 4 or 3 wires connecting to the pins. If there are 4 wires, each connecting a pin, then it will work. If there are only 3 wires, leaving one pin disconnected, then it will not. To use, simply plug the RDT45 code reader cable connector into the corresponding data port in your vehicle, usually located near the dashboard or gearshift, while the engine is off. Then switch the ignition on and scroll to the right menu option users can gain access to generic and vehicle specific VAG and OBD-II codes related primarily to the engine, transmission, airbag and ABS systems that trigger MIL events. Definitions for the DTCs can be found in your manual or via the CD definitions lists in on the CD included. Additional features include a USB cable for updating your computer-based definitions list and a nylon carrying case. Great Product, Easy installation - Read This First
I purchased the airspring as a replacement for the leaking stock Continental airspring on my 2005 Allroad 4.2. The cost of the unit was about half that of the dealer cost for the OEM part. The ordering process and delivery were painless. I had downloaded the installation instruction from the web and it seemed easy enough. The instructions that came with the unit were also easy to follow.Upon disassembling the suspension and removing the airspring and control arm assembly, I encountered aluminum #6 spline drive bolts (x6). These are not Torx bolts no matter what the guy at the auto parts store tells you. Be sure to have this tool on hand. Arnott is kind enough to provide you with hex bolts for replacement.The total ease of the replacement was amazing - actual labor time was about an hour. The fit and finish of the new airspring was great. The vehicle performs like new and I don't worry about the suspension sag that you're probably experiencing. I will be...

great product, great review
The instructions and product were great. I ordered the shocks along with new airsprings, so I am reviewing them together. The installation was easier than expected, though as someone noted, you do need a 12 point torx, rather than the normal 6 point. Luckily the instructions were provided and very good. I wouldn't have dared undertake the installation myself without them. The good news is that the tox is eliminated altogether in teh Arnott setup as was another bad design that I can't quite remember now. With the new componenets I can feel the front suspension handling better than the back with the old OEM springs and shocks. This is probably mostly down tot he Bilstein shocks.

Great deal, great product, saved us a lot of grief... thanks Arnott!
To start off our Audi Allroad's front suspension had a terrible sag and it could barely be driven (it felt like it was lowered 3 inches). After some research on the Audi Forums and a 2.5 hour diagnosis at a local repair-facility we were told that we needed to replace the suspension airbags. Another link on the forums told that the best product for the price is by Arnott's on Amazon. We had to spend over $1k in total, but now wer'e back on the road and everything works great! Arnott sells a great product that is less than half the price of the dealer and did the job perfectly! Overall we saved lots of $$$ and that is great.Though there was some minor confusion as their tracking # was wrong and showed that the package was sent back. A quick phone call clarified that the package was already delivered and somehow they sent a duplicate package and that was the one sent back... we were on a road-trip and needed the part ASAP so that was a scare!Will definitely...

Versatile, well made product
I'm very satisfied with this product, been using it for about 2 months now. I wanted it primarily because of the vent clip, which works well enough except it didn't put it where I wanted it in relation to my steering wheel. Instead I used the suction cup. This suction cup is phenomenal. I set it once and its stuck since. Its done so in hot to below-freezing temps and is solid enough that I can make orientation adjustments without fear of popping it off.The actual grip for this phone is well thought out. The grip itself is a padded foam, so it will conform to the shape of your phone. Over only a few uses it retained that shape... not sure if my next phone will suffer from a loose fit, but my current one is very thin, so it shouldn't matter. I'd rather the foam be sturdy like this stuff than flimsy because without the foam the phone would fall out.The alignments are very versatile however they are all stepped, so you can't adjust it to whatever you want.
