Works well with a power sander-lasts a very long time!
I am not a pro woodworker by any sense, but I had several shelves and part of a cabinet that were needing work. Using a Bosch 1/2 sheet sander, I compared this to standard garnet 3M sandpaper for paint stripping and light seam blending of MDF & plywood. I was going through 1-2 half sheets of garnet paper per shelf easily before the paper was worn to the point of being useless. I used 2 half-sheets of this for the remaining 9 shelves. I probably could have done it with one, but accidentally caught the edge of the paper and ripped it. I never had problems with clogging, and was easily able to tear the full sheet into half sheets after creasing it first. The long life and ease of use easily justified the extra expense.
